Welcome to my Blog!

I will try to give a little insight into my world of wedding photography. The wedding and engagement shoot locations. What challenges we encountered and how we handled them. But mostly, it is about the wonderful couples I work with and their special day. That is what matters most. I hope that you enjoy it and maybe get a little something out of it. Cheers!

Lauren and Michael's Wedding

Lauren and Michael had their wedding in Baltimore on May 21, 2016. The Wedding was at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church in Baltimore. The reception was at The Visual Arts Museum (AVAM). It was a rain filled day but we did not let that keep us from having a great wedding. We shot all the outdoor photos in the rain. So I give all the props to Lauren and Michael. They were wonderful. The reception and fantastic. Lots of fun and dancing.

Chloe and Ryan's Engagement

I went to Frederick for Chloe and Ryan's engagement. It was a beautiful day with lots of bright sun. Frederick has a wonderful park that follows the canal through the middle of the city. It requires a lot of walking but it gives you plenty of photo opts. Chloe and Ryan were great. They were having so much fun together which makes my job so much easier. Their wedding is June 18, 2016 at Herrington on the Bay.

Caitlin and Troy

Caitlin and Troy were married May 14, 2016. Their wedding was at The Chesapeake Bay Beach Club. The day started out raining. When we arrived it was raining. When Caitlin arrived it was raining. When Troy arrive it was raining. It did not look good. But, we had faith that things would clear and it DID! It not only cleared in time for the ceremony outside but also mother nature gave us a very nice sunset (The best sunset are generally after rain). So, everything worked out perfectly. Caitlin and super happy and I was very grateful too. It was a great wedding. So much fun!

Emily and Blade's Engagement

For Emily and Blade, they choose Quit Waters Park in Annapolis. I met them there on Mothers Day evening. It was surprisingly busy. But, we were able to avoid people and get some great photos. The thing about Quit Waters is that you can stay in one general area and not have to move too much. There are plenty of nice backdrops. So, we were able to get a lot of variety is the shots and they were able to change outfits as well. It was a little overcast a first but around sunset the sun came out. Unfortunately the path to the water was closed off. It didn't really matter though. We all had fun during the shoot. It ended in a bubble fight for extra fun. Emily had a lot of great ideas. Which is very important for ideas to come from them as I want the shoot to be about them and their relationship. Thank you Emily and Blade.

I am looking forward to the wedding in October at the Tidewater Inn in Easton.

Chelsea and Steven in Annapolis

May 20, 2016  •  Leave a Comment

Chelsea and Steven had their engagement shoot in Annapolis. Chelsea looked fantastic wearing all white with red shoes. And the weather was nice for a change with even some sun. I like to shoot in the evening for best light. This way I have a low sun for backlighting and nice open sky for soft light. On engagement shoots I approach them as a story. Basically guiding and directing the couple from spot to spot. Allowing them to just be themselves and have fun. I do not pose them. I just direct a little. Chelsea and Steven were both great and a lot of fun. I can't wait for their wedding in July.
